Jenny’s Well events, Sunday 11 June

There’s lots of exciting activities happening at Jenny’s Well Nature Reserve this coming Sunday 11 June. Friends of Jenny’s Well are holding a celebration of World Environment Day from 11am till 2pm and then from 2.30pm onwards Paisley Natural History Society are having a bioblitz. All are welcome to come along and join in.

World Environment Day celebration, 11-2

There are fun and informative activities planned for all age groups. Learn what the Friends have been doing at the reserve, about the wildlife right on your doorstep and how to get involved to help protect and enhance it.

It’s a free event, some refreshments and healthy snacks will be provided; all you need to do is bring a reusable cup with you.

PNHS Bioblitz at Jenny’s Well, 2.30-5

A Paisley Natural History Society walk round Jenny’s Well Local Nature Reserve to identify and record all the wildlife we see. Bring your insect nets, binoculars, ID guides and mobile phones along and get spotting plants, birds and bugs. Whether a beginner or expert, there’s lots to learn about the wildlife there and the apps you can use to identify and record what you see.
