Paisley Natural History Society (PNHS) is a small, friendly society to providing opportunities for experts and amateurs alike to learn about and study all branches of natural history.
Our aims are to:
- encourage the study of natural history throughout Renfrewshire
- support the conservation of wildlife and habitats throughout Renfrewshire
- maintain links with the Natural History department of Paisley Museum
The society was founded by local naturalists in 1968 and has is still going strong today. Find out more on our History page.
We hold regular indoor talks in Paisley from September through to April and outings to wildlife sites from March to September. Members also get involved in local conservation projects and wildlife recording. Find out more about what we do on our Activities page.
