Come along for an engaging talk on the elusive Eurasian Goshawk, Scotland’s apex woodland predator and one of its most secretive birds of prey. Often called the “phantom of the forest,” this formidable raptor plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of forest ecosystems.

Drawing on his own fieldwork and close encounters with wild goshawks in their natural habitat, Callum will share insights into their behaviour, habitat, and the conservation challenges they face today. He’ll also explore the ongoing efforts to monitor and protect these magnificent birds across Scotland.
