Tree walk at Linwood Moss Community Woodland
Judy Hayton will be leading this walk to look at the different trees in this deciduous woodland plantation.
Meet at the ON-X Sports Centre car park, Linwood, at the entrance to the woodland path (as shown by the orange marker on the map) for 2:15pm. Please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The walk is on the level but paths may be muddy.

Looking for Purple Hairstreak butterflies at Shaw Wood
Kirsty Menzies will be leading this walk to look for Purple Hairstreak Butterflies in Shaw Wood, Dykebar, Paisley. This is an unusual species of butterfly as it actively flies in the early evening high in the canopy of mature oak trees. As a result it is widely under-recorded. Bring your binoculars and scopes for a good chance of seeing them.
Meet next to the car park at Dykebar Hospital (as shown by the orange marker on the map) at 6:30pm. Please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear and clothing. The walk has some rough tracks and gentle inclines.

Pearl and Norman Tait will be leading this walk to look at the fungi in and around the woodland at Boden Boo, Erskine.
