Kirsty Menzies is leading this walk to look at Local Biodiversity Sites of mixed interest.
Boylestone is a long disused quarry which was designated as a geological SSSI in 1984. It is rich in wildlife with some interesting species to be found.
Some rough, uneven paths with steep climbs in places. Walking boots are best. Bring packed lunch and dress for the weather.
Meet at 11am in Brownside Farm car park, off Caplethill Road, Paisley PA2 7TX (as shown by the orange marker on the map). NS 4888 6069.
This is a Glasgow Natural History Society excursion to which members of Paisley Nats are also welcome.
