A member’s talk with some festive cheer!

Boylestone Quarry in Barrhead is a geological SSSI and is also a wonderful site to explore natural history, offering a number of habitats and some wildlife gems. In this talk Kirsty will explore the history of the site, the geology that makes it so special and some of the amazing wildlife that was recorded there during 2025.

We’ll also be having a fun quiz and book sale too! Be sure and bring along donations of natural history books and some cash to pick up a bargain.

Afterwards there will be time to socialise and enjoy some tasty festive fayre. As well as the usual tea, coffee and biscuits, there will be some wine, including non alcoholic, and some mince pies.  More festive nibbles would be very welcome if you would like to bring something for the table.

Please note; christmas paper cups will be provided for the wine. But could you please remember to bring your own mugs for hot drinks.
