Wednesday 5th June 2024
Following the success of last year’s walk, Michael Philip is returning to lead another botany evening session for beginners around the grasslands and woodlands of Thornly Park.
Michael will introduce some of the key features to look at when identifying plants. Don’t worry, if you came last year, as the June date will enable us to see some plants that weren’t in flower last, July. Always enjoyable for beginners, and for the more experienced, alike. We are guaranteed to come away with our heads full of fascinating facts about plants. Read the report on last year’s walk here.
Meet at 6.30pm adjacent to 22 South Avenue, Thornly Park, PA2 7SP. See the orange markers on the Googlemap opposite for details. There is plenty of on-street parking.
