We are looking forward to our first meeting of 2025/26 this Thursday 4th September, starting at 7.30pm. Instead of the planned talk, which has been postponed at short notice, we have asked our members to give the talks on Thursday!

Come along prepared to tell us about what fires your enthusiasm for nature! Bring photographs or props and spend 5-10 minutes talking about anything to do with wildlife.  For example you could:

  • bring along a wildlife book you’ve enjoyed and tell us about it
  • show us photos of the wildlife you’ve seen on your holidays
  • tell us about a project you are involved in or volunteering activities that you do
  • share your experience of the species/place/habitat that interests you most
  • show us what you’ve been photographing/recording locally over the summer – any unusual finds?
  • tell us about what you like about being a PNHS member!

Bring along photos on a memory stick, or email them in advance to PaisleyNaturalHistorySociety@gmail.com

As always the meetings will be held in the Wynd Centre, Paisley, on the first Thursday of every month. Check out our Talks page for details of the venue and our full programme of evening meetings. We’ve got lots of really interesting talks planned for the season.

Our membership fee has been kept at the same as last year, at just £15 per year for all members.  Anyone is welcome to come along and if they enjoy the talk they can become a member on the night. Check out our Membership page for further details and if you have any questions please get in touch.
