Bursaries of up to £400 available for natural history courses

Looking to improve your plant ID skills? Interested in recording and identifying wasps? Or would you like to learn how to track mammals?

Since 2009, Biological Recording in Scotland (BRISC) and the Glasgow Natural History Society (GNHS) have been offering bursaries for natural history training courses. These bursaries are open to anyone living in Scotland who wants to improve their skills and contribute to biological recording.

From 2023 bursaries of up to £400 per person will be available, up to £100 of which can go towards transport costs to make it easier to attend courses.
