Clyde Big Birding Day on 13th May

The Scottish Ornithologists’ Club (SOC) are encouraging people in the Clyde area to get out and do some birdwatching this coming Saturday as part of Global Birding Day.

Whether you spend just a few minutes watching and recording birds in your garden or a park, or thoroughly bird your local patch over the day, all records of your sightings are of interest.

  • Why not set yourself a challenge and see how many species you can record in 24 hours in the Clyde area
  • Or offer to try and locate one of the scarce species in the Clyde (e.g. Ptarmigan, Green Woodpecker, Long-eared Owl, etc)

Check out SOCs Clyde Big Birding Day 2023 webpage for further information about the day and how you can record your sightings.
